About the Opportunity & Client

​The client is a US based supply chain planning and automation platform provided as a Software as a Service solution. The company is looking for a highly organized and detailed oriented Technical Consultant / Implementation Consultant / Data Engineer to work with the client’s team and play a pivotal role in system design, data engineering and software configuration and testing during the implementation of supply chain planning solutions. As part of the team, consultants and engineers get to work with large global brands with highly experienced resources which contribute to professional growth and development. Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

Primary Responsibilities

  • Configure and customize the client’s solution to meet specific customer business needs, ensuring optimal functionality and user experience

  • Create and implement customizations that extend the core functionality of the client’s platform, addressing unique requirements

  • Assist in the design and documentation of the system architectures that align with specific requirements and client’s platform capabilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and maintenance of integrations, leveraging various technologies and protocols to ensure seamless data flow

  • Conduct thorough testing and validation of the solution including data validation internal to the solution and feature/ requirement output

  • Contribute to the development of compelling software demos, showcasing key features and benefits of the client’s solution

  • Support the design and deliver comprehensive training programs to end-users, empowering them to effectively utilize the implemented solution

  • Provide high-quality technical support across L1-L3 levels, resolving complex issues and ensuring continued client satisfaction post-implementation

Qualifications / Skills / Competencies

  • Experience Level: 2-4 years of experience in technical implementations

  • Hard Skills:

    • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with PostgreSQL as well as JSON and XML

    • Understanding of data integration techniques and ETL tools (e.g., Pentaho, Talend, Informatica, or Mulesoft)

    • Proficiency in Python for ETL development.

    • Knowledge of agile development methodologies

    • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field

  • Soft Skills:

    • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and be able to communicate effectively with international clients

    • Demonstrated analytic problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues

 

  • Other:

    • Ability to work independently and work non-standard hours to accommodate globally dispersed teams and clients

    • US Travel Visa would allow for client sponsored in person training and face to face meetings

 

  • Relevant certifications, preferred:

    • SQL: PostgreSQL Associate Certification or Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate

    • NoSQL and JSON: MongoDB Certified Developer Associate or Couchbase NoSQL Certification

    • API Development: API Academy Certified API Designer or Postman API Fundamentals Student Expert

 

  • Nice to have:

    • Supply chain planning experience a plus

    • Salesforce and Tableau experience a plus
